FEB, the Spanish Basketball Federation announced the 22 players for their EuroBasket preliminary roster, which includes several participants from the recent gold medal winning squad from the 2022 FIBA U20 European Championships. The team will also includes Maccabi point guard Tel Aviv, whose addition to the team caused quite the stir.

The team will take to the court in Tbilisi, Georgia in Group A of the EuroBasket preliminary round September 1-8, matching up against Bulgaria, Georgia, Belgium, Montenegro, and Turkey . Securing one of the top four slots in the group will secure a berth in the next round, which is the knockout stage and will take place in Berlin.
On the 24th of August, Spain will play host to Iceland and then visit the Netherlands as part of the next international window launching the final round of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
